You can show someone the idea. But perhaps login is unreliable, payments only work in a test environment or the next feature keeps breaking something else. These are specific engineering problems that need investigation and a plan.

We work with prototypes created using tools such as Lovable, Replit, Bolt and AI coding assistants. We start with the actual application and code, then recommend what to keep, refactor or replace. The tool used to create it does not decide the answer.

A product needs to support real users doing real tasks, with the right access to their information. For a paid application, that includes the path from sign-up to payment and the behaviour when a payment or external service fails. For an internal tool, permissions and reliable data handling may be the main priorities.

We define the launch criteria around those requirements. Sometimes a short list of targeted changes is enough; sometimes the underlying design needs more work. We explain the trade-offs before committing to a build, and separate launch essentials from future features.
